RESURRECTED: Back From the Abyss
WOW!!!!! Do I start every blog post with, "long time no see" or some other variation pointing out how long I've been away for? I'm sad to see that blogging my fitness journey ended on day 3 *insert eye rolling emoji*. New plan, New Years Resolution: Don't make a new years resolution (that includes dieting/fitness/tracking progress).
I guess I just wanted to touch base with all of my followers (hi mom, hi dad) about what I've been up to...
I have moved away from London and back to Toronto. I made the move a little more than a year and a half ago and I haven't looked back since. I took a job working for a youth travel company and BOY HAVE THEY KEPT ME BUSY! From spending winters in Montreal and Quebec City to spending March break and summers in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Cuba! It's safe to say I've been around and back and around again. Living the jet set lifestyle! (Don't be fooled, it isn't as glamorous as you may think... But my Instagram sure makes it look FABULOUS--doesn't it always?) I still love all things beauty, makeup, skincare and nail polish but I really have slowed right down (read: stopped) documenting my discoveries, likes/dislikes and reviews! I have SO MANY, SOO MANY products that I haven't opened yet because I kept telling myself, "wait to use this, I wanna do a review on it" and what ends up happening? The item goes back into the beauty drawer, I don't use it and I don't review it. NOW, this has created quite the problem because said drawer is now BURSTING full of products. Products begging to be used, abused and reviewed.
WHICH BRINGS ME TO NOW: (you didn't miss a lot, I don't lead the most thrilling life)
I am BACK and BETTER than EVER! I have sooo many product reviews for you guys and so many nail polishes I am dying to try out! This is my (written) commitment to GET BACK ON TRACK! So let it be written, so let it be done! (Or whatever that saying is).. The point I'm trying to make is: this is me, putting in a conscious effort, to get back to trying, using and reviewing beauty products!
Aside from everything I have stashed away in drawers, what do you guys wanna see or hear about? Any products I have to review? Recommendations? I'm open to anything... NOW IS (Y)OUR TIME!
