2015 FALL TRENDS&FASHION ♡ LOOK BOOK ♡

About a bajillion blog posts ago I posted a "2015 *insert season* Look Book" and the images were courtesy of anthropologie.com! They just encapsulated the 2015 trend perfectly. They had all the elements of whatever was "in" at the time. (I am not getting paid to write this, nor do I ((unfortunately)) work for anthropologie) hmu anthropologie though......... I'd work for you.

I digress!

This 2015 Fall Season Look Book that anthro (for short) put together is, again, on point. All images can be found at anthropologie.com and you can definitely shop these looks!

So one of the things that was evident right away was how popular earth tones and dark primary colours were this season! Lots of nice deep, dark tones.
Think deep wine red and dark cherry, plum. This models shirt matches the smoothie she's drinking. Coincidence? I think not.

Loving the jumpsuit. Comfy and practical! Don't be afraid to go for earth tones this season!!! They are easy to pair with bolder patterns and colours (hence the great plaid accent scarf). Paired with cute ankle booties ensures you don't look too casual. However, totally feel free to also pair this look with shoes.. Think Tom's or Keds. Ankle booties just give you the opportunity to take a basic, comfy look and take it to the next level.

Simple pull over sweaters make for an effortlessly chic look and easy to layer. This season, look for mustard/yellow colours, navy/dark blue, plum... I also noticed earth tones are popular again this season. Think "earth green", like the jumpsuit on the model in the middle picture (above).

This neckline is SO popular right now!
I love the "poncho vibe" of this coat!

This season is also all about bold patterns! BIG bold patterns! The big print flowers on the first models shirt, the large houndstooth print coat and the bold almost floral-like patterned skirt! Wear your bold patterns with pride!! If you're going to mix two patterns (like the model in the last photo--above) your best bet is to try to stick to geometric shapes! Nice solid, bold lines or blocks of colour work best with big, bold patterns. Otherwise, keep everything else on the low-low. Pair with black, white, nude, beige, khaki... You get the idea!

I am still obsessed with thigh-high boots. I bought a pair and they lasted me forever. I'm due for a nice, new pair. (More bold pattern!!! Super popular. Big, bold patterns = yes)
I told you this neckline was popular! I have been seeing it *everywhere*! Here we are again back to those nice earth tones.
Some more big bold pattern!

This fall season the "oversized shirt/dress" is sweeping the nation. For real, though. I'm not dissing it!!! I love this look. It's like the dress is an over-sized t-shirt but it's meant to be a dress but it isn't meant to be fitted... Does any of this make sense? So, in CONCLUSION, it looks like an over-sized shirt/dress! I dig it. They're super easy to dress up or down and, for example, in the photo to the right, if you found a skinny belt or tie, you could easily create a waistline for some added "definition" if you will. Pizzazz.

Mmm big, cozy knit sweaters are the best (top right photo) and definitely on-trend. Don't be scared to go for fitted or over-sized. Both are very "in" right now, you really can't go wrong. Easily pair the sweater with leggings, jeggings, jeans, a skirt... The options are endless; easy to dress up or down. I also think vests are making a comeback? But the nice "fashion" vests (pictured top left). See what I mean? Technically, she's wearing a vest..... I like... I also love her cuff! I'm digging chunky jewellery this season. And the last photo, the model is wearing an earth-toned jacket paired with (what looks like) a knit sweater and bold patterned purse. Keeping the pants simple, a nice, black, straight-fit. (You could go white if you were daring--because screw not wearing white after labour day...right?)

As I mentioned above, all images are from anthropologie.com!!! You can shop these looks and their products on their website and in-store.

I hope you're as excited as I am for these fall trends!! What are your favourites? What do you think needs to be added? Happy sweater weather, everyone!!!!
