Pantene ♡ SMOOTH & SLEEK ~ Review

I love samples (of every kind) and I recently received a shampoo/conditioner combo sample pack in the mail! They are the Pantene Smooth & Sleek taming shampoo and finishing conditioner. I believe this is one of the newer lines Pantene has released and it's supposed to "specialize" in repairing your hair! Moisturizing, frizz-taming.. All that good healthy hair stuff!

When I went to shower today I grabbed these and took the plunge! Right away, they smell great. But what else did you expect? I would have to say almost all shampoo's and conditioners smell great. ANYWAYS I digress. (Even the coupon card thing that came with this combo smelt like the shampoo--it smelt amazing!) 

In the shower, while actually physically using the product, it made my hair soft in the shower. You know when you put in conditioner and your hair feels all soft and slimy? It felt like that. And I like that. 

Once my hair dried I really did notice it felt moisturized! I, of course, focused on the tips of my hair where I have the most damage/breakage and my hair feels less dry and brittle... Just soft. 

I have heard from previous bloggers that this shampoo is a great alternative to a high-end brand! What's that word? Dupe! This shampoo/conditioner conbo is a great dupe for an expensive brand! I'm sure over a prolonged amount of time I would see an improvment on my hair. Unfortunately a sample size (as shown above) isn't more than two uses for me. I have thick long hair! I am guilty of using a ton of shampoo and conditioner.... BUT we're not here to ridicule me!! 

I would definitely recommend trying or even going as far as purchasing this product if you have dry, brittle or damaged hair. However, I feel if you have super thin hair, this combo might weigh your hair down, the formula feels quite thick. Does that make sense? You know what I mean if you have thin hair. I'm confident. Wow I'm rambling....... 

YES I'd recommend trying, or even purchasing this item! 

YES I would purchase this product in the future! 

PRO TIP: Great money saver! Great high-end dupe. More $$$$ for your buck! Beauty on a budget!
