Monday Manicure Minute ♡ Spooky Slime Halloween Nails ♡

This weeks nails are Halloween inspired! I mean, it's only appropriate I do some Halloween themed nails considering it is October!! Halloween is my favourite festivity (it feels wrong to refer to Halloween as a holiday?) and I thought now is as good time as any to do some spooky themed nails!

I originally wanted to paint my nails black and orange (duh Halloween's colours) but I don't have a true orange polish! I have a dusty orange and a peachy-orange... Basically I have no orange that would represent a pumpkin... But I didn't let that stop me! I decided to go with a "Goosebumps" looking slime. You know, those scary books you use to read in elementary school? I think they also had a TV show and a few movies? If you don't know what I'm talking about, allow Google to jog your memory (simply Google Goosebumps).

I used three polishes for this look! A black, white and green! If you don't have green you could also use red! That way it would look like blood (versus the green "slime").

I started by painting all of my nails black and painting my accent nail (my ring finger in this case) white! I decided my ring finger was going to be a ghost! Just help break up the design a little bit and add a little fun! Plus, ghosts are oh-so Halloween and adorable!

This look was actually easier to create than I thought it was going to be!

I apologize for the mess around my nails, I took photos right away so I would eliminate the risk of chipping or smudging!

Paint your entire nail black, wait for it to dry, then take your green (or red, or whatever colour you're going to use) and put a blob near the middle of your nail and drag it towards the tip of your nail, then connect all the blobs with a line along the bottom (where the white on a french manicure would go)

I love themed nails and Halloween is so much fun!! I will most likely have a different "spooky" nail look next week so keep an eye out!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN-ING!!!!
