Monday Manicure Minute ♡ 2 New Brands! ♡

Before I begin this post I have to say, I don't know what it is but, recently, every time I paint my nails I manage to squish/dent my polish 30 seconds after I've finished painting the coat. How annoying!!!! Usually I'm really awesome at staying still and keeping my polish perfect but as of late I have been as bad as a child!

Now let's begin!

This week I am using two brands of polish I have never used before! The white polish I picked up from... Urban Planet? Is that what it's called? Anyway, the polishes were on sale for like, $6 for 6 or something so of course I jumped at the opportunity to buy a bunch of polish! One of the ones I bought is this one (below) Nabi Nail Lacquer  in the colour '8 White'

The other colour was borrowed and it's Urban Oufitters 'Blue' (see below) 

Wow, what original names for nail polishes, am I right? *Feel my sarcasm* (On the other hand it's super weird that these nail polishes have normal names... Usually they're something wild.) 

As I mentioned above, I previously had not tried this Nabi brand so on the bottle, where it says "New and Thick Formula", I can't tell you whether it's better or worse than the previous formula as I do not know! Though I found the formula to be a little too... goopy for my liking. It was almost too thick... To the point where I felt like I needed to stop using it and throw it away. But I proceeded to paint my nails! 

The white didn't come out that bad, actually! It dried rather nicely. Urban Outfitters in 'Blue' is a really cool colour because the sparkles/glitter in the polish are different sizes! So, when painted on your nail, it almost looks like glitter platter! (See below for final product) 

***I apologize in advance 1) for the dent in my thumbnail, my roommates got a puppy and she has little dagger puppy teeth and she put a cute little dent in my nail polish and 2) at the very beginning of this blog post I comment on how I can't keep my nail polish nice before it dries (see #1 for a prime example), I decided as SOON as I finished painting my nails, I was going to take photos. So yes, excuse the polish around my nails, there was no time for touch-ups!***

I probably won't purchase this 'Nabi' brand of polish again... I have another one that I've tried since this post and it's just as goopy/clumpy and too thick. Trial and error, I guess! Until next Monday... ! 

I know it's Wednesday but better late than never, right? I swear I've had this blog ready to go since Monday but there have just been so many things to blog about! Have you seen that Luxe Box has released all of their fall upgrades and add-ons? I know!! It's exciting!!
