Shampoo & Conditioner: John Frieda ♡ Full Repair ♡

I'm finally ready to admit it to myself... I missed my Monday Manicure Minute and Thursday is too late to post about it. THOUGH, I could not leave my blog untouched for a week (well, until Monday) so I decided to write about the new shampoo and conditioner duo I picked up today! How nice of me. (I would never leave you hanging.)

It has been waaaay too long since I last bought shampoo and conditioner and that's bad for two reasons. 1) No consistency in my hair-care routine (mixing different shampoo/conditioner brands each time I showered--yuck) and 2) this also means my last shampoo/conditioner lasted me forever which means there could be product build-up in my hair! Product build-up in your hair happens when you continually/routinely use the same shampoo/conditioner. It's almost like your hair builds a mini force-field and becomes immune to your product, therefore, it builds up. This can weigh your hair down and/or leave it looking greasy! Annoying! Why would somebody want their hair looking greasy right after they showered? Exactly my point! They don't.

Today I nabbed a great deal and picked up some John Frieda shampoo and conditioner! I say nabbed because it was almost half price! How does one say no to (almost) half price? This shampoo/conditioner retails at $12.99 for 250mL and I bought it on sale for $7.99.

This particular duo is the full REPAIR strengthen+restore formula! There are a number of different types in this line such as, Sheer Blonde/Radiant Red/Brilliant Brunette for colour treated hair, Frizz-Ease for frizzy hair, Luxurious Volume to help volumize your hair (duh), etc. For a full list of products you can visit the website!
