June/Summer 2014 Luxe Box

I have been very MIA the past couple of months and I apologize!! I have been super busy and have neglected my blog!! There is no excuse! Back on track...

So it's been 3 months since the last Luxe Box which means another one is due this month! (They are scheduled to ship the week of June 15th!) Now, I'm a little behind with the latest Luxe Box updates as anything I tell you, you would have already known or been informed about! They have released their upgrade box options and have been rearing up to send out the summer boxes! There have been many hints and clues as to what could be inside the summer edition! We know there will definitely be a nail polish from Butter London and an item from Barefoot Venus! Those are two definite summer brands!

Let's take a look! 

As you can see I was a little late to the punch (ha! pun intended) and the first upgrade package is actually sold out! For the blogs sake lets take a look at what the first upgrade has, Hawaiian Punch...

Hawaiian Punch Upgrade ~ 
($6 to upgrade)

If you don't know anything about Luxe Boxes (you should go read my first post about Luxe Boxes!) but a quick summarization of the upgrades are, essentially the upgrades guarantee you certain produts. The upgrade (usually) let's you know exactly what is going to be in that particular box. The upgrades typically have themes (as you can see the themes this time are Hawaiian Punch, Summer Vows and Anchors Away), there is also a small upgrade fee (usually between $4 and $8). 

Summer Vows Upgrade ~

($6 to upgrade)

Each themed upgrade will have products to match the theme of the box. So for the first upgrade 'Hawaiian Punch' it has really fun, bright summer colours and hair products to give you beach waves and an eyeshadow called 'beach glow.' All things to keep you looking summery and ready for the beach! The second box, 'Summer Vows' ("wedding edition") contains more "romantic" items. Things you would use or wear to a wedding or if you were getting married! Soft pinks and florals... Think sweet! Like cherry blossoms. Now, the last box has not revealed all the products that will be in the box; you are only guaranteed a few products (thus far). Sometimes LooseButton reveals products one at a time. If you follow them on social media, like Facebook, you can see things like hints as to what the next revealed product might be! Let's take a look! 

Anchors Away Upgrade ~ 

($4 to upgrade) 

'Anchors Away' is all things nautical! As you can see in this upgrade they have even included two charms for a Pandora bracelet! Jewellery/accessories are always a fun surprise in Luxe Boxes! So, as I mentioned above, (and as you can probably see), not everything has been revealed! They have the grey shadows of the products so you can kind of get an idea of what else could be included! So, the far left grey item looks as though it could be perfume, the next item looks like it could be a lotion or shampoo bottle, etc. Keep checking back to see which product(s) they unveil next! 

Last but not least! The upgrades only come in limited quantities. They vary from having 500 upgrade boxes to having a mere 100. As you can see the Hawaiian Punch upgrade has completely sold out. So there were either few boxes of that particular upgrade or it was extremely popular! It's always first come first serve! The other two upgrades however, still have boxes available! As of June 3rd 3:06PM EST there are: 114 Anchors Away boxes available and 111 Summer Vow boxes available.  

Final note: I have also bought a drugstore self-tanner, you can expect a review on that coming in the next week(s) or so!
