Loose Button Luxe Box Spring 2014
So I finally received my Luxe Box from Loose Button! I was so anxious to get one as this is the first year that I've actually committed to signing up for all four seasons! I couldn't decide which box I wanted to subscribe to.... There are so many good ones out there! But I finally settled on Loose Button as it's exclusevly Canadian (gotta support "local") and their boxes always contain items I'm interested in; from being one item I am dying to buy to loving all 7/8 items within the box. I guess we should get started then!
So my wonderful Luxe Box arrived in this rightfully-fit sized box!

I believe every season LooseButton includes a little 'card' like this... This is what mine read this season...
So this season (like every season) there was the option to upgrade your LuxeBox! One of the options this season was to upgrade to the PRADA Luna Rossa for completely free! You still got your 7-8 handpicked spring LuxeBox items but you also received a deluxe size sample of the PRADA Luna Rossa cologne!
Here were the handpicked items I received his season...
The first items I took a look at were the two blueish looking bottles in the back right. Upon first glance I thought they were going to be lotions but I am happy to announce they are actually a shampoo/conditioner duo! I cannot thank LooseButton enough for providing us with BOTH the shampoo and conditioner. Other boxes have been known to only send samples of one. I say, what's the point?? The product works best with it's counterpart so why not advertise and provide both? Anyways... Good job LooseButton!! That's a checkmark in my books!
I will use these the next time I shower!! Which should be tomorrow evening.. So expect a review in the near future! I am always excited to try new shampoo/conditioner! I am completely open to any brands and product! I will let you know how this one turns out!
Now, the second item I am going to talk about is lotion. There is pretty much one lotion per LuxeBox, am I right? This is the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer. Another thing I am excited to try! I have only really ever used my Dior facial moisturizer so I am interested to see what other facial lotions can do!! Bring it on! Reviews to come, of course! (below)
I am excited to announce in this spring's box we got a primer!!! I am addicted to primers and (I guess I sound like a broken record... In my defence I am really genuinely excited to try all of these products!!) but I am very excited about this product and trying it out! I will use it tomorrow before I go to work so I will hopefully be able to tell you all how it is tomorrow!! Stila is always a pretty decent brand so I don't have any doubts! I usually have pretty good luck with primers so I can only hope for the best!
Everyone is addicted to nail polish now a days aren't they?? Another brand I am also excited to try! However I wasn't so thrilled about the colour but I try not to be skeptical because usually the colours I dislike in the bottle I end up loving on my nails. We shall see!
Mostly a "meh" item to me. I'm excited about it because quite frankly, you can never have too many headbands. Maybe this sporty one will encourage me to be... active? Get outside? We'll see... I'll let you know how well it stays on my head in the future.
My spring free upgrade this season was (as I mentioned earlier) the PRADA Luna Rossa cologne. Of course I gifted this to my boyfriend but it was the perfect opportunity! It was meant to be. He was mentioning how he wants a new cologne as he just used the last of his favourite. Magically LooseButton hears his woe's and offered to give us one for free! Woohoo!! It smells as good as I remember. It's crisp, fresh and has lavender undertones (don't worry, it doesn't smell floral.) I will let you know what he thinks of it and how it smells on him!
And last but not least, the final item!! This was the thing I was least excited about. I am always open to trying new things and I love that, don't get me wrong, but I'm not a huge "candy" person and lemon/lime are my two least favourite flavours. Just not my cup of tea! I will maybe eat a few of these at work tomorrow and I'll let you know how they are... I am trying not to judge a book by it's cover! Maybe these will be delicious?? Only time (and taste-buds) will tell.

DeleteThat's true. I liked my box a lot actually! The only item that I didn't like/threw me off was the headband. I've actually reviewed the items I got on my blog, if you'd like to check it out. :)
